To date the Ultra Run series has been available in the No-Show and Crew heights. Well, we decided it’s finally time to bring the Mini-Crew length to our Ultra Run series! What is Ultra Run?
Our Ultra Run series is one of our thickest socks available. It is comprised of midweight cushioning which provides maximum comfort and protection for your feet during high-impact activities. The cushioned terry along the footbed and around each toe helps soften the repeated impact in each step encountered during ultras, hence the name. But the Ultra Run series works great for any length run, whether it’s 1, 10 or 100 miles, along with other sports where you might find extra cushioning for your feet beneficial, such as for basketball, tennis, and so much more.
The Benefits of Mini-Crew
Until now, the Ultra Run series only came in two lengths: No-Show and Crew. We wanted to expand the options available for our Ultra Run socks to those who prefer Mini-Crew length. Aside from height preference, the Mini-Crew length also helps to protect your ankles from any scuffs or scrapes that might occur from random objects along your path, or from your opposite shoe while running. It also helps to prevent dirt and debris from entering your sock, say if you’re hiking or trail running. The Mini-Crew provides a snug fit around your ankle, so you don’t ever have to worry about it slipping down during activities.
